Picture	Segment	Description
	SCENE 1	Susan is busy cooking for a dinner party, and she is one chair short. She asks Big Bird to go borrow a chair from Mrs. Rodriguez down the street.
	Celebrity	Lorne Greene and the Bonanza cast add two horses and one horse to make three horses.
	SCENE 2	Big Bird comes back, sans chair. He says that he tried talking to Mrs. Rodriguez, but Susan explains that Mrs. Rodriguez is a little hard of hearing, and makes sure he knows how to talk loud.
	Muppets	Ernie & Bert — Bert says that he's going to demonstrate quiet by talking quietly to Ernie. But when he tries, Ernie claims that he can't hear what Bert is saying. Finally, Bert gets frustrated and shouts at Ernie; Ernie tells Bert not to be so loud.
	SCENE 3	Bob asks the kids to sort things by the volume of the sound they make.
	Celebrity	Jim Nabors counts from one to twenty, demonstrating soft and loud.
	SCENE 4	Big Bird comes back, again, sans chair. He explains that he tried talking loudly to Mrs. Rodriguez, but Susan explains that Mrs. Rodriguez only speaks Spanish, and teaches him how to ask for the chair ("silla").
	Muppets	Kermit uses a radio to demonstrate "soft". Grover shows up and wants to talk about loud, turning the radio up. After the two demonstrate soft and loud a few times, Big V appears and eats the radio. (First: Episode 0039)
	SCENE 5	Bob shows Farley, Oscar, and the kids a series of pictures of different homes in the city, country, and suburbs.

	Cartoon	"Poverty Z" -- A figure tries to sell a Z. His only customer stops him by locking him inside a zoo cage. Artist: Cliff Roberts (First: Episode 0085)
	SCENE 6	Big Bid successfully brings Susan the chair from Mrs. Rodriguez, having asked her for one "silla." He goes off to play checkers with a pigeon named Walter, while Gordon goes to borrow some silver polish from Oscar.

	Muppets	Herbert Birdsfoot recites a poem with OP words, counting on Grover to hop whenever he says "hop" — repeatedly, until Grover faints.

	SCENE 7	In the yard, Susan and the kids spell words using letters of the alphabet on a wide magnetic board. They sing "The Alphabet Song."

	SCENE 8	Gordon finds a sign on Oscar's can: "Please use the special password knock." Since Oscar refuses to tell him the secret knock Gordon tries different combinations of rhythms to figure it out. When he finally gets it right (knocking out "Shave and a Haircut") he asks for some silver polish, but Oscar says he's all out.

	SCENE 9	Gordon returns with the polish but explains to Susan that he didn't get it from Oscar because he couldn't figure out his secret knock. Susan tells him to go take a shower.

	Muppets	Ernie & Bert — Ernie is supposed to talk about the letter Z, but doesn't know what a Z looks or sounds like. He hears a buzzing noise, and looks around to find its source. He finds a funny looking thing in a drawer, which, as Bert points out, is a Z. (First: Episode 0026)

	SCENE 10	The guests start arriving at the dinner party and Susan offers them some hors d'oeuvres; Big Bird asks for an egg and says he feels like a bit of a cannibal. Susan signs off while Herry Monster announces the sponsors in voiceover. The credits follow.
	CLOSING SIGNS	Oscar holds up the Sesame Street sign, while Roosevelt Franklin and Betty Lou hold up the CTW sign.
