Zac Efron (b. 1987) is an actor known for his role as Troy Bolton in the High School Musical movies.

He appears in Sesame Street's 43rd season. Efron had previously been caricatured as the Muppet "Trey" in the spoof "Pre-School Musical" (Episode 4165).

In addition to the High School Musical franchise, Efron's other work for Disney Channel includes a few specials and promos as himself and a guest spot on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. More recently transitioning from a teen star into more mainstream films, credits include the musical Hairspray, Me and Orson Welles, The Lucky One and The Paperboy, plus voice work in Dr Seuss' The Lorax and Robot Chicken.
