"You and You and Me" is a Sesame Street song performed by Grover, Elmo and Zoe. In the song, they all try to fit through a door at once, but when they won't fit, Grover suggests they go one at a time, or take turns.
This was the last song Jeff Moss wrote for Sesame Street, as he completed it the day he died.[1] Obituaries to Moss mention that the song was to have featured Elmo, Ernie, and Telly.[2] The final segment (which replaces the latter two with Grover and Zoe) was taped on January 21, 1999, and directed by Ted May.[3]
