"You and I and George" is a song written by Red Kelly (who played bass for Stan Kenton's band), that details the romance between "you and I". The song ends with George drowning in a river, "leaving you alone with me."
The original version by Stan Kenton can be found on his live album "Kenton Live from the Las Vegas Tropicana."
