The popular Beatles song "Yellow Submarine", a #2 hit in 1966, was used on several early season episodes of Sesame Street. Bob dresses three Anything Muppets (Pumpkin, Fat Blue, and Purple) who scoot off to their submarine, where they party with other Muppets (including Beautiful Day Monster and Cookie Monster). The song taught the color yellow, and how to get along with others.
The track was released as a Sesame Street single in 1976, backed with "Octopus' Garden".
