Yakety Yak credit

In an unusual move for an insert, the Take It Back Foundation received credit at the end of all of the episodes it appeared in.

"Yakety Yak - Take It Back" is a public service announcement produced by the Take It Back Foundation in 1991. The music video features entertainment celebrities in an updated version of "Yakety Yak" retooled with a message about recycling. The music video premiered on MTV on April 10, 1991 (National Recycling Day), appeared as a trailer at AMC movie theaters, and was distributed on VHS and CD. It was later shown occasionally on Sesame Street during the 1990s, though it does not feature any Sesame Street characters. (First: Episode 3043)

Celebrity appearances include Dr. John as the voice of the animated Yakety Yak character, Bugs Bunny, Pat Benatar, Natalie Cole, Charlie Daniels, Lita Ford, Quincy Jones, B. B. King, Queen Latifah, Kenny Loggins, Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, MC Skat Kat (from Paula Abdul's video "Opposites Attract"), Bette Midler, Randy Newman, Tone Lōc, Ozzy Osbourne, Brenda Russell, Al B. Sure!, Ricky Van Shelton, Barry White, and Stevie Wonder.
