"Yakety Yak" was sung by the pigs in a stone aged setting in episode 513 of The Muppet Show. This song also featured a dinosaur, as well as Zoot playing the saxophone.

Oscar the Grouch also sings "Yakety Yak" in A Special Sesame Street Christmas.

The song was originally a hit for The Coasters.
