"Yakety Yak" was a hit pop song for The Coasters in 1958.
On The Muppet Show it was sung by the pigs in a stone age setting in episode 513. This song also featured a dinosaur, as well as Zoot playing the saxophone.
For Sesame Street, Oscar the Grouch sang "Yakety Yak" in A Special Sesame Street Christmas, and Cookie Monster sang it during the 1994 Sesame Street Live show Let's Be Friends.
