"Wynken, Blynken and Nod" is a classic poem by Eugene Field that tells the story of three fishermen, and the adventure they have when fishing for herring in a wooden shoe on one mystical, enchanting night. Buffy Sainte-Marie and Lucy Simon each set it to music for Sesame Street. Lucy Simon's version was performed by The Doobie Brothers on the "In Harmony" album, and when it was released as a single it reached #76 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
