William Osler is a Canadian actor who appeared in Jim Henson's 1969 drama The Cube as the scientist, arguing with the Man over the nature of existence and the paradoxes of science.

The grand-nephew of pioneering physician Sir William Osler, Osler the actor was himself frequently cast as doctors or professors, in such Canadian films as Deadline (Dr. Masters), U-Turn (Professor Bamberger), and Something's Rotten (Dr. Conrad). As a voice actor, he was heard on the science-fiction series Starlost as the computer voice, and narrated episodes of the TV Ontario children's adventure series Read All About It (also shown on PBS).
