"White Christmas" is a popular holiday song, first introduced by Bing Crosby in the film Holiday Inn. His classic recording of the song is still considered the standard, although it has been recorded by countless other artists. The song speaks of a longing for an old-fashioned "white Christmas" with snow and children and sleigh-bells.
The song was sung by Bob and the cast in a medley of Christmas songs on the album Merry Christmas from Sesame Street. Kermit the Frog sang the song in 1989 for the Walt Disney World Very Merry Christmas Parade.
Elmo and Rosie O'Donnell performed a duet of the song in the special Vanessa Williams & Friends: Christmas in New York.
