Whispering is a popular song from the 1920s which has also been recorded by a number of big-band and jazz musicians.

A parody of this song, which is in the public domain, appears in the first issue of The Muppet Show Comic Book: On the Road, performed by Sweetums - ironically shouting the lyrics at the top of his lungs to Robin the Frog - and "The Acoustic Mayhem."
