Beverly Sills sings "When the Bloom Is on the Sage" in episode 409 of The Muppet Show. Fozzie, filling in for Kermit introduces her as "The Queen of Nashville...Miss Bev Sills." After singing the song through once, she demands to see "that bear," and explains to him that she is an opera singer. Fozzie says he'll go get Kermit. When she asks what she's supposed to do in the meanwhile he suggests that she tapdance. By the time Kermit returns and tells her she doesn't have to finish the number she is having so much fun tapdancing that she tells him not to interrupt and finishes the song in style.
