"What Can the Baby Say?" is a Sesame Street song performed in Episode 1035. After meeting Buffy's new baby Cody, Big Bird learns the baby can't participate in any fun activities with him. In an inner monologue, he sings that the baby can't do anything; all he does is lie there and gurgle.
When the song was released later on the album Let Your Feelings Show!, a new prologue and ending were recorded. Here, Big Bird hears Herry Monster, Maria, Bob, The Count, Biff, and Gladys the Cow making a fuss over a new baby (not specified to be Cody). At the end of his song, Bob talks to Big Bird about how he feels, and then lets him hold the baby. Bob tells Big Bird that the baby will need friends to teach him things while he's growing up.
