What's the Word on the Street? is a 2008 Sesame Street book based on the show's "What's the Word on the Street?" segments.

In the book, Elmo is excited as his Grandma and Grandpa visit him on Sesame Street. He accompanies his mother to Hooper's Store and the Sesame Street laundromat, and then goes to pick up his grandparents at the airport.
