"What's Your Name" is a Sesame Street song sung by Big Bird in the 1980 season premiere.
Big Bird goes to school, but he's shy because he doesn't know anybody. So he practices saying hello to a wastebasket, pretending that the basket is a kid. By the end, he has gathered the courage to say hello to the kids and the kids ask him to play jacks with them.
