"We'll Meet Again" is a song made famous by British singer Vera Lynn during World War II, as an optimistic reflection on happier times to come (and later used, ironically, for the closing montage in the Peter Sellers/Stanley Kubrick movie Dr. Strangelove, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb).
The song closed the 1981 special The Muppets Go to the Movies. Lily Tomlin served as the lead singer, and was then joined by the cast, with occasional cuts to settings used in the various movie tributes throughout the special.
