Wayne Brady

Wayne Brady (b. 1972) is an actor, singer, television personality and comedian. He is best known for his work on the American version of the improvisation show Whose Line Is It Anyway?, where he particularly excelled at improvisational singing. He also hosted his own successful daytime talk show for two years called The Wayne Brady Show. More recently, he has appeared in the Broadway revival of Chicago, on ads for CoffeeMate, and as the host of TV Land's That's What I'm Talking About, a talk show which discusses the role of blacks in the entertainment industry.
Muppet/Sesame appearances
- 2002: Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy appear on The Wayne Brady Show to promote It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie. Kermit and Brady sing "Rapper's Delight".
- 2003: Brady sings "Between" on Episode 4031 of Sesame Street
- Performs a medley of songs from Mister Rogers' Neighborhood with Elmo, Zoe, Grover, Rosita and Big Bird as a tribute to Fred Rogers' passing at the 30th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony.
- 2004: Brady shares his favorite Sesame Street moment;
- Performs the song "Unsung Heroes" on the Marlo Thomas and Friends album Thanks & Giving All Year Long.
- 2006: Brady and his daughter, Maile, appear on the DVD Sesame Beginnings: Make Music Together.
