Warren Wolf was a wolf reporter who once interviewed Dr. Nobel Price in a 1981 "Sesame Street News Flash" segment, substituting for Kermit the Frog. He was a Sesame Street parody of sports broadcaster Warner Wolf, a staple of New York City news broadcasts during the 1980s and 1990s. He first appeared on Sesame Street in season 12.

His merchandise appearances include the 1980 coloring book More Who's Who on Sesame Street, the 1982 coloring book City, the 1982 Sesame Street card game You're a Grouch! and the 1984 coloring book Trace & Color.
