Walter Cranky is a Grouch broadcaster who appears in a season 38 insert featuring Anderson Cooper and Dan Rather-not. When Cooper asked Cranky a question, Cranky would always respond with a grouchy "Grrrrrrrrrr!" He is a Grouch parody of news journalist Walter Cronkite.
