Walt Rauffer is currently a Technical Advisor for Sesame Street. Previously, during the 1970s, he worked as the Technical Manager for all in-house technical facilities.
"The Man Behind the Racks", has worked as a television engineer since the 1950s. Shortly after graduating from the RCA institute with a degree in electrical engineering, he worked for the U.S. Army Signal Corp. In the 1960s he designed the first handheld portable network TV camera.
