Waiting for Cookie! is a 2008 Sesame Street book featuring Cookie Monster.
Cookie Monster has a hard time being patient while the cookies are in the oven. Prairie Dawn, Zoe, Elmo, Ernie and Bert distract him by telling him examples of times that they've been patient. Finally, the timer rings, and Cookie gorges himself.
