Added by BradFraggleA talking Vulture appears in the Greek Myth of "Daedalus and Icarus".
The vulture speaks to Daedalus, confronting him about his feelings towards Talos and pushing Daedalus to murder the boy. The bird reappears after Daedalus and Icarus escape the Labyrinth. He calls Daedalus a murderer for killing Talos. Daedalus, full of rage and guilt, kills the bird and uses his feathers to build the wings for their escape.
