Velma Blank, a parody of Wheel of Fortune hostess Vanna White, appeared on Sesame Street in Season 19, as the co-hostess for "Squeal of Fortune".

Velma has also appeared as the sidekick to Sonny Friendly in Street storylines in the 1990s.
