An Undertaker appears in the 1992 film The Muppet Christmas Carol. A bird in well-worn formal clothes, the undertaker is one of the three scavengers, along with Mrs. Dilber and a Laundress, who take Ebenezer Scrooge's belongings to Old Joe.

The puppet was also used in the 1996 film Muppet Treasure Island as one of the pirates of the Hispaniola. He's featured in the song "Professional Pirate," and in the climatic fight,  Samuel Arrow head butts him
