In 2002, Kermit and Miss Piggy appeared in commercials for UPS (United Parcel Service) with Dale Jarrett as cross-promotion for their involvement with NASCAR. Nanco made a set of Kermit plush toys wearing a UPS shirt as part of the promotion.

The company was spoofed as "United Pigeon Service" in the 2008 television Christmas special A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa.
