Series: Retail Exclusive (Spring 2002)

Articulation: neck, ball-jointed shoulders, wrists, waist, hips, ankles

Accessories: television camera, top hat, logo base

The Tuxedo Kermit Action Figure was released by Palisades Toys as part of the The Muppet Show's 25th anniversary marketing campaign and sold exclusively through Toy Fare Magazine and Toys 'R Us.

Kermit's top hat has a peg that fits in a small hole in his head. The television camera is a lighter version of the camera that was included with the standard Kermit Action Figure from Series 1.

The Holiday Kermit Action Figure, an industry giveaway, was a slightly different, repainted version of Tuxedo Kermit.

Kermit was the first in a series of tuxedo-clad Muppets that were sometimes called Steppin' Out figures. Other such characters included Rowlf, Bunsen and Beaker, Gonzo, Fozzie and Uncle Deadly.
