Turner Classic Movies is a cable television channel airing classic films distributed by MGM, United Artists, RKO Studios and Warner Brothers, amongst others.
Kermit the Frog was one of several celebrity "guest programmers" who joined host Robert Osbourne in November of 2007 to present and discuss a block of films, purportedly selected by the guest (other guest programmers include Alec Baldwin, Danny DeVito, Whoopi Goldberg, and Martha Stewart). Kermit's appearance was shown on November 21, 2007, where he discussed his selections: Singin' in the Rain (with Gene Kelly), The Band Wagon (with Fred Astaire), Cyrano de Bergerac (with Jose Ferrer), and Lassie Come Home (with Elizabeth Taylor).
