Trond Brænne (1953-2013) was a Norwegian actor and writer, whose voice can be heard in En Muppet Julefortelling (the dub of The Muppet Christmas Carol), as Lew Zealand and various other background characters.

He was a prolific actor, having played numerous major and minor roles on stage, movies, television and radio, and lent his voice to many Norwegian dub productions. Among others, he played Moomintroll in The Moomins, Bartok the Bat in Anastasia, the narrator in the Winnie the Pooh movies, Elmer Fudd in Tiny Toons and Looney Tunes dubs, Mr. Tweedy in Chicken Run, and for Pixar, the dentist in Finding Nemo, the newsreel narrator in The Incredibles, and Chatter Telephone in Toy Story 3. Disney feature roles include elderly, fussy, or wise characters such as the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, Jock in Lady and the Tramp, and the chairmouse in both Rescuers films. For video games, he played Brian Westhouse and Roper Klacks in both of The Longest Journey games.

He was also the host, often together with Norwegian singer Maj Britt Andersen, in children's shows for TV, and wrote several books for children.
