Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog is a popular character created and performed by Robert Smigel that debuted on the NBC talk show Late Night with Conan O'Brien (and subsequently appeared on NBC's The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien and TBS's Conan). The puppet made a cameo appearance in It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie.

Triumph's popularity was so great, that he was listed in Animal Planet's 50 Greatest TV Animals, along with Kermit and Big Bird.
