Tor Åge Bringsværd is a Norwegian author who wrote several storybooks for Sesam Stasjon, the Norwegian co-production of Sesame Street.

Bringsværd's Sesam storybooks were illustrated by Egil Nyhus. They featured the Norwegian Muppet characters Alfa, Bjarne and Max Mekker.
