Toots Thielemans (1922-2016) was a jazz musician known for his harmonica and guitar playing, and professional whistling. He provided the harmonica solos for the "Sesame Street Theme".
Moving from Belgium to the United States in 1951, he became a member of "Charlie Parker's All-Stars". He played and recorded with names like Ella Fitzgerald, Quincy Jones, Paul Simon, and Billy Joel. His playing of "Moon River" appears in the soundtrack of Breakfast at Tiffany's.
