Bumper card with Steve Allen's signature specs.

Tonight! was a comedy-variety series hosted by Steve Allen from 1953 to 1957, though his hosting duties were decreased when Allen's new show The Steve Allen Show premiered in 1956. The show originated for local New York City television in its first year, but was picked up nationally by NBC in September 1954. Andy Williams was the resident singer.

Following Allen's departure, the series changed hosts, becoming The Jack Paar Show. Eventually, beginning with the arrival of Johnny Carson in 1962, it would morph into The Tonight Show, becoming more of a chat series than anything else.

Jim and Jane Henson appeared on the show during the third week of October 1956 and performed "I've Grown Accustomed to Your Face." They appeared three weeks later on Allen's The Steve Allen Show and performed the same number.

They also made an appearance on Tonight with Jack Paar on November 1, 1957.
