Toni Basil (b. 1943) is a singer and choreographer best known for her 1982 single "Mickey," and particularly for the accompanying music video. In the early 1990s, Basil produced several inserts for Sesame Street, involving children dancing to illustrate numbers. She also served as choreographer for Muppets from Space.

Basil has choreographed for such varied stars as David Bowie, Tina Turner, and Bette Midler. She was the choreographer for the first season of Saturday Night Live (and appeared as a guest) and her film work includes American Graffiti, That Thing You Do, and Legally Blonde II.
