In Time to Cha-Cha-Cha!, Bear just wants to relax and read a new book on the couch in the living room in the Big Blue House. He feels some itchin', but ignores it. He feels some twitchin', but ignores that too. But when he feels a scritch as well, he knows it's time to do The Bear Cha-Cha-Cha! He turns on W-CHA, but finds them playing polka music! He tries his records, but Doc Hogg has borrowed them.

On his quest to do the Cha-Cha-Cha, he finds Ojo and Treelo dancing as well. He teaches them that there is no wrong way to dance. He also finds Tutter trying to do the limbo. Later, Pip and Pop play maraca music.

This book combines original illustrations with photos of the characters as they appear in the show. It also features a holographic cover that lets readers watch Bear do the Cha-Cha-Cha before their very eyes.

Portions of this book are based on the episodes "Dance Fever!" and "I For-Got Rhythm!?" However, neither Claudia Silver nor Mitchell Kriegman are credited with "Based on an Episode By."
