Tim McCarver (b. 1941) is a former Major League baseball catcher and sportscaster for Fox Sports. McCarver began his baseball career with the St. Louis Cardinals, but also played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Montreal Expos, and the Boston Red Sox. McCarver has won multiple Emmy Awards for his sporting coverage, and covered the 1988 and 1992 Winter Olympics for ABC and CBS, respectively.

McCarver appeared in episode 3061 of Sesame Street, where he reported on the Worm Winter Games in Squiggleville, France.
