Tiger Lily is a talking flower encountered by Alice in Alice in Wonderland. She asserts that the reason garden flowers seldom speak is because the flowerbeds are too soft, sending the plants to sleep. She attempts to assert her authority over the other plants, but they know she can't get at them.
Tiger Lily and the other flowers were taken from Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking Glass, and not Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
