In 1987, Jim Henson and Michael Frith collaborated with designer Gene Moore to create holiday window displays for the famed New York City jewelery store Tiffany's, in honor of the store’s 150th anniversary. The windows featured posers of Muppet characters from The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, and Fraggle Rock.
The Muppets returned to Tiffany's windows in 1992, in promotion with The Muppet Christmas Carol. One window included Kermit and Robin, wearing their Cratchit attire from the film. A very similar set-up was on display in London at Selfridges during the 2004 holiday season.
