My Name is Elmo was published in 1993.
It was later retitled Tickle Me: My Name is Elmo and reprinted as a Little Golden Book in 1997, to cash in on the Tickle Me Elmo craze.
However in 1999 Random House reprinted it as a Junior Jellybean Book under the original title.
