  • I watched the Rifftrax of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and I came upon a confusing reference: When Arthur Weasley tells Harry "Tell me, what exactly is the function of a rubber duck?", Kevin says, "And cue the goofy theme song and the ABC bug."

I don't known if that's a reference to the Rubber Duckie song or something else. I'm not sure.

    • Yeah, I don't think it is. It sounds like it might be a reference to Shark Tank on ABC (the channel logo at the bottom of the screen is commonly called a bug). That would fit with someone asking how an object functions.

    • But the Rifftrax of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets came out in 2008 and Shark Tank didn't air till a year later. Maybe it would be a reference to another show on ABC. What show would that be?

    • Good point. I'll see if I can find a 2008 ABC schedule and see what it might have been.

    • Or you can look up ABC shows before 2009 on Wikipedia.
