  • Looking through the history, this edit was the source of the Frank Oz claim: "Frank Oz puppeteers a glove hand ballerina (see Muppets On Puppets) in this ad, gliding across unrolling toilet paper." The "see" bit was later removed, but it seems it was an assumption based on Oz's glove hand work in the special.

    We have a better source now, in Imagination Illustrated, p.38, the actual excerpt from Jim's journal, for 1965: "Nov. 22-24, shoot 4 spots for Aurora using Jane's hand." Later note for 1966: "Nov 28- film more Aurora - used Lisa in one." Since Lisa Henson would have been about six, most likely this would have been an on-camera cameo or something, unless it was a smaller glove. I don't think we have enough details on the later spots. But this is the best evidence on who played the Aurora glove, so I'll make the changes shortly.
