I think even non-admins should be able to rename files. Try going to the file pages, and hit the drop-down arrow next to "Edit" to select "Rename" and let me know if it works for you!
"File:SamsonTiffyandLiloTeaParty.jpg" ("TeaParty" can be replaced with whatever's going on if it's NOT a tea party)
"File:ToccataandFriends.jpg" ("andFriends" can be replaced with "XandY", X and Y being the names of the exact people shown)
"File:PinoTommieIeniemienieOld.jpg"
