Seriously, I was curious why you moved the page name to the non-umlaut version, but left it in the article text. Is it a wiki thing not to have umlauts in page names? Because I think we have accents and tildes on other pages. Sorry if I'm being nit-picky; it's the diacritic in me!
I know, I immediately thought of you when "fixing" the link.
As for going umlaut-free, I don't remember where I thought I read that we'd established a rule for that, but I do remember that there was a discussion about replacing "ß" with "ss" on all Sesamstraße stuff (which when capitalized is correct, but otherwise isn't).
Maybe the diacritic in you is correct in that we need not worry 'bout being dotty?! :)
