Hi... usually deleted pages have talk page reminents, but I'm not finding anything for No Strings Attached. How is Frances fine, but No Strings Attached not fine? I know the policy says only one page per JHC production, and I can see removing the redlinks on the crew that have no other Muppet connections, but I don't see why we wouldn't have anything on this production. It's actually got puppets, which is refreshing for the Henson Company.
Sorry, I meant to link to an edit summary from where I deleted it before, but it didn't work. Suffice it to say, we're not covering every little announcement Henson makes anymore.
I'm not sure. Possibly. We had a discussion last year about what we do and don't cover, and we may be due to rehash it again. Let's see what happens if/when the show becomes real.
Yeah, we've been sticking with one page per production for Henson Co projects. I think Scott is referring to the fact that the Henson Co announces a lot of projects that don't get made -- Power of the Dark Crystal is the obvious example, which staggered on for almost 7 years before they admitted it was dead.
That being said, we might want to have some place to keep track of these... I thought we had an "Upcoming Henson Company projects" type page, but I can't find it.
Yeah, if the project got far enough with images or other details, we give it its own page. But most of the time, it's stuff that's announced, usually a rights acquisition, that never happens. It wouldn't hurt to do "Upcoming Henson Company projects" for this kind of stuff, but we'd likely want to limit the definition (since if they decide to acquire another foreign movie to dub and stick a label on, it wouldn't really be relevant or noteworthy). Right now, I'm not sure if we even want to start it or wait a couple more weeks, see what news comes out (since given the precedent of stuff like Power of the Dark Crystal, and the trouble we had convincing some of our users as it kept being categorized in and out of development, I'd rather wait until we have more to go on, and right now all of the preliminary reports seem fairly vague and some seem to be confused).
