  • Thanks for the Cookie tape with an unpunched card! By the way, that's a later pressing, because it includes "We'll Do It Together", which means it's between 1977 and 1983.

By the way, have you seen A Christmas Together (album)? Urban Outfitters is going to sell it on vinyl this year! I think I'm going to try to track it down!

    • No I hadn't seen that. green vinyl? They do love making this album colorful (what with all the red singles). I wonder if it will be the full album or not...

Interesting on the Cookie tape; would they have made a cassette before 1977 as well? I was so pleased to see one on the card. Usually those cassettes are rather dull pictures because the cards are long gone :)

    • incidentally, they were selling I am Kermit the Frog at my son's bookfair last week. So cool to see Muppets amongst all the Star Wars and puppy stories....

    • Yeah, they're advertising it with 13 songs, plus they're using the original front cover, although the back cover looks like it says RCA, so I'm not sure if it's put together from other pictures. The actual ad is here. It says Windstar Records, but I didn't even know they were still in business. It also says it's an exclusive, so I'm curious how many they're making. Apparently they sell other things on vinyl, like classic rock albums.

And tapes go all the way back to 1974, but I'm not sure if they had anything on the back of the card. If not, then it would be easy to just keep it the same when the songs changed. I'm not sure at what point they started selling them in the regular cases like regular tapes.
