Thor is the mighty god of thunder in Norse mythology. He starred in the Thor, God of Thunder sketches on Muppets Tonight. These sketches involved the God engaged in everyday tasks such as (trying to) take books out of a library, and taking his driving test. Whenever Thor got angry at things during that, he would strike the person that angers him with lightning.

Thor is also a superhero character in the Marvel Comics universe.
