The World was a game show pilot announced in 2001 by Jim Henson Television. The concept required contestants to endure "physical, emotional and mental tests" within a fantasy world.

The world itself was to be rendered by Jim Henson's Creature Shop as a virtual set, as had previously been used on The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss and elsewhere. Scott Sternberg was attached as producer. It's unclear whether the pilot was ever completed.
