Sheldon the Turtle, or Shelly (performed by Jim Henson) wants to make some new friends, but each time he tries to do so, he just hides in his shell. Shelly thinks he can hide in his shell because that's what turtles do and no one likes him as a friend, but Bob doesn't think it will help him to make some new friends. He suggests to Shelly that he should stick his head out of the shell and say "hello" the next time another animal approaches.
