The Tubmans of Porksmith was a recurring segment seen in first second season Muppets Tonight. The sketches featured the comical misadventures of Howard Tubman (an rich food-loving pig) and Carter (his dry-witted butler). The series were a reworked in the second season as Boarshead Revisited.

These segments were produced as UK spots, and were not included in the American broadcasts of the show.

An announcer who opened each sketch with "And now the continuing saga of America's oldest and fattest family - the Tubmans of Porksmith."

Picture Theme Episode Description
"Push the Plunger" Episode 102: Garth Brooks Howard Tubman is stuck in his chair and needs a handyman to blast him out - with explosives. Miscommunication seals the fate of both the handyman and Carter when both use the phrase "press the plunger".
The Testament Episode 103: Billy Crystal Mr. Tubman will only receive his testament if he loses enough weight.
The Robbery Episode 106: Tony Bennett Two robbers find their way into Mr. Tubman's house, but when they find a safe contains only a colonial rumcake.
The Hypnotist Episode 107: Sandra Bullock Carter brings in a doctor to take care of Tubman's eating addiction through hypnosis. Looking within Tubman's soul, he locates a hula dancer ("the opening act") before finding the "thin Howard" within him, who is very hungry.
