The Tool Box Book showcases assorted Sesame Street residents as they make use of Mr. Hooper's toolbox on Do-It Day. Various tools are pictured, identified, and their uses explained. At book's end, everyone cools off with a sprinkler shower from a hydrant, and Mr. Hooper appears resplendent in an early 1900s' style striped bathing suit.
